Our hard working
Lady Secretaries Irene Kourkouli and Maria Minogianni complete the team and of course perform
general office duties such as processing
documents on the network, preparing telexes,
email and faxes, typing and undertaking
Reception. They are also involved in organising
seminars and exhibition participation.
Our secretaries are
well versed in the latest software and this
enhances the efficiency of the office and
the presentation of reports.
For every casualty
investigation of Container vessels they
prepared a database of containers including
positions and damage sustained in order
to assist in cost of damage calculations
and logistics.
They are also involved
in the transfer of digital photographs to
the network and the presentation of these
photographs in document form or if required
sending them instantly by email to the client.
Scanning is also
an important part of their duties, photographs
and diagrams are scanned for insertion into
reports. The Secretaries also archive our
old files using a high speed scanner. Over
12 years of documents have been scanned
until now at a speed of 1.500 pages per
day.
Finally they are
also involved in the preparation of voyage
and casualty location diagrams using electronic
charts and the creation of powerpoint presentations.
Irene Kourkouli is
our liason with the Bahamas Maritime Authority
for crew licenses, logbooks and other documentation.
