Middlesex University. He is certified by Lloyd's Register
as an internal auditor for ISO 9001.
William joined Overseas Maritime
in 1996, and after being assistant to the surveyors for several years began to specialise in Yacht Surveys and Cargo Surveys.
He has been involved in diverse assignments ranging from Loading and Discharge Surveys, theft and damages to Containerised Cargo, Claims for cargo shortages, Heavy Weather damages and Unsafe Port claims.
Yacht Pre-Entry Insurance Inspections have been performed for major insurers as well as Pre-Purchase Surveys on wooden, GRP and Kevlar sailing yachts in the 30-60ft range along with motor yachts of GRP, Steel and Aluminium in the 70-100ft range.
Photography is one of his hobbies which also extends into his daily work where along with general photography using SLR equipment he also takes macro photographs of damages to engine components and other failed metals.
William is also involved in computer graphics including CAD technical drawing for illustrating reports and for use in local courts and London Arbitrations. Through electronic charting software he is able to analyse voyages. Additionally he maintains the office network and websites.
